This year’s Action for Brain Injury Week will take place from 18th – 24th May. The Child Brain Injury Trust would like to take this opportunity to raise awareness of the ‘unsung heroes’ throughout the UK.

Following a childhood acquired brain injury, many parents, siblings and extended family members take on a carer’s role. This Action for Brain Injury Week the Child Brain Injury Trust would like to raise awareness of these ‘unsung heroes’. But we need your help to take action on their behalf.

Nominations will shortly open for members of the public to put forward an ‘unsung hero’ their your community. We will then choose our top 7 heroes to share their experiences throughout the week in May. Please be sure to check back shortly for further details of how to nominate your hero.

The Charity is also organising a Superhero fancy dress day for everyone to get involved on Friday 22nd May. So please ensure you encourage your school or work place to join in on our national superhero day to raise awareness of carers in the UK.

Last year you helped the Charity raise nearly £12,000 and in 2015, we would like to raise even more, so please join us to take action once again.

If you would like to register your early interest in getting involved with Action for Brain Injury Week, please contact our team now and they can keep you up to date and support you or your team with their fundraising.
