Master Class Lectures
An in-depth look at a specific subject area. These are delivered by leading experts on childhood acquired brain injury and consist of two lectures (one in the morning and one in the afternoon).
Our popular ‘Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover’ workshop provides a no-nonsense, jargon free approach to childhood acquired brain injury. Very few educational staff have any awareness or understanding of the issues that a child may face on their return to school, as this is not covered by any basic training, even for Special Educational Needs Staff. The workshop covers ‘What is an acquired brain injury’, ‘Supporting a child with a brain injury’, ‘Learning strategies’ and much more. We are pleased to be able to offer places at some of our Workshop free of charge, due to funding kindly received from the Eden Dora Trust for Children with Encephalitis. Find out more by looking at our online calendar below or clicking on this flyer.
