Today is a big day for the Child Brain Injury Trust, when we finally get to share some big news with you all. For the last few months we have been working away on a fantastic new website for the charity. As anyone who has ever done this before will know, investing in a new website is not cheap to do, and this represents a considerable financial commitment for the organisation.
However the old website had served us well, and in the increasingly digital market in which we operate it became clear that our old site was not up to the task. We want our website to show who we are and what we’re about, but also to act as a fantastic resource to the families we support, and all the professionals who surround our families.
The website is cleaner, and easier to navigate and will be a pleasure to read on phone, tablet or your laptop. You will be able to find what you are looking for a lot more easily, and you can download loads of information.
You will also be able to join in our e-learning sessions, book in for our Masterclasses or sign up for a family event with a few simple clicks.
Phase one is now complete and we hope you will find our site much improved! Phase two, due to launch in late 2018 will bring a dedicated area for children and teens. We acknowledge that people spend so much of their lives online, and this is true of young people as much as adults. This section of the site will be just for them and will offer valuable support and information. We know that young people want to be involved in their own care and future as much as they can, and providing an online space for them makes that possible.
There are also many more ways to get involved with our fundraising events and activities, ideas for fundraisers and a tab just for company supporters. You can also pay in money you have raised or sign up to be a regular giver.
We hope our new website will enable us to grow and do everything we want to do to offer the best service to our families and the professionals who work with them.
