Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group (MTSG) held its annual Winter Ball at the end of November 2019 at The Principal Hotel in Manchester. Made up of trainee solicitors, paralegals, legal executives and other aspiring lawyers, MTSG provides its members with exclusive access to social and networking events. The evening raised a fantastic £600 for the Child Brain Injury Trust! Holly Atkins, Marketing Director of MTSG tells us all about this fabulous event.

Each year MTSG hold a Winter Ball on behalf of its members and this year it did not disappoint! Held at The Principal Hotel in Manchester, there were a total of 330 people in attendance, enjoying a fantastic drinks reception, three course meal, photo booth, caricature artist, chocolate fountain, glitter cannons, glitter face painters, live music and more.

The theme this year was “Glitter is the New Black” and everyone was encouraged to wear glittery/sequin dresses, bow ties and other accessories. Both the dance floor and all of the tables had glitter cannons over them and guests were treated to glitter face paint on arrival.

There was live music from singer Alex Stewart during the meal and band called The Kickstarts on the dance floor til the early hours.

Furthermore, the event raised £600 for the Child Brain Injury Trust from ticket sales alone! MTSG look forward to fundraising again soon for the charity and supporting the exceptional work that they do in the North West.

MTSG would like to thank its members for making it a night to remember and BCL Legal Recruitment for its sponsorship. We can’t wait for the summer ball next!
