Once more our friends at Strasse held a fantastic event for porsche enthusiasts at Lotheron Hall near Leeds, and in 2019 they raised over £5,800 to support families affected by childhood acquired brain injury.

Over 800 porsches came along on the day to enjoy the festival and all the fun family activities, people were encouraged to bring along their small change to donate, and Helen Goff used the coins to make a “penny porsche”. You can find Helen on Twitter @HelenGoff, Helen is a longtime supporter of the event and a porsche fan. There was lots to see and do with displays, concours, a trade village and live music, and of course there were lots of amazing cars to look at!

As a charity, the support of local businesses and local communities is vital to us, and with so many worthy causes to choose from it was a delight and an honour for our charity to be chosen by Strasse. A great big thank you also to Simpson Millar Solicitors, who were the headline sponsor of the event.

Events like this take an amazing amount of hard work and time to organise and we are so very grateful not only for the opportunity, but also for making us part of this very special day. We look forward to seeing you all again for the 2020 Yorkshire Porsche Festival, taking place on 9th August 2020 at Lotherton Hall, Leeds.
