It’s just over 2 weeks to our Annual Conference and that means it’s all hands-on deck to ensure our event is just as you would expect.

Do you know we are the only charity in the UK that brings together families and professionals to learn from each other and to discuss and debate the best possible support for children with acquired brain injury and this years’ conference is no different

So why should you attend?  Well firstly you’ll meet our incredible team of experts, families, supporters, exhibitors and likeminded people.

Secondly the theme is important – ‘creating positive connections’ for anyone involved in brain injury whether it was caused by illnesses, tumour or trauma.  We want everyone connected to our charity to have a positive journey even though lives have been changed forever.

Thirdly, the programme of speakers will inspire you, will connect with you and will give you lot s to think about in your own area of work.

Dr Howard Fines

Dr Howard Fines

If you have never heard from the super Dr Howard Fines who is not only the psychologist to Reality stars and shows such as Channel 4’s ‘The Island’ and ‘Who Dares Wins’ but also an extremely well respected Paediatric Neuropsychologist who has specialised in brain injury and in particular adolescents.  I have had the pleasure of knowing Howard for some years now and every time I hear him I am totally engaged, enthralled and amazed.

Our very special family speakers are all looking forward to meeting the delegates and they are keen to share their experiences and thoughts about their futures.  When you hear their stories expect to feel emotional, expect to be surprised and expect to want to do things differently.  They give us hope for the future and strength to do a better job.

Our conferences are not like any others – they are warm, friendly, professional and fun. Come and see us on the 6th March and please note that our prices have not changed for 3 years, we receive no Government funding in England and Wales and we provide all our services without charge.

If you want to get really connected, join us for our legal and networking events too. Please contact conference@cbituk.org or visit our online booking portal!

See you there
