As part of Action for Brain Injury Week, the Child Brain Injury Trust invited children supported by the Charity to paint their hero. The art project theme tied into a week’s activities to raise awareness of parents and others who have taken on a carer’s role following a childhood acquired brain injury.

We were very impressed by all the young artists who took part and displayed the paintings at an art exhibition on Wednesday 22nd July hosted by Bolt Burdon Kemp Solicitors. All paintings were auctioned off on the evening during a silent auction and managed to raise £3,190 for the Charity.

We would like to thank Bolt Burdon Kemp Solicitors, our young artists and everyone who attended the event last week and raised this fantastic amount to help us continue to support children and their families following an acquired brain injury.
