This year for Action for Brain Injury Week we asked some of the young people we have helped to paint, sketch or make a collage of the problems they have faced since acquiring their brain injury. There are eight common areas that can affect a child following a brain injury. These are: fatigue, problems with attention and concentration, perception difficulties, memory problems, behavioural difficulties, difficulties with executive skills such as reasoning and solving tasks, problems with communication and social skills. Please use the slider below to view the powerful and excellent artwork we received back. The story of the artist and picture will appear on each picture after about 5 seconds. View the remaining areas here. The artwork is being exhibited at the award-winning Town Hall Hotel in London during Action for Brain Injury Week.
