Art Project 2016: ‘Socialising With a Brain Injury’

We are delighted to invite the children and young people supported by the Charity to take part in our 2016 Art Project.
All you need to do is create a piece of art that reflects this year’s theme: ‘Socialising With a Brain Injury’. Brain injury can have a big impact on socialising as a child or young person and we want to understand that from a day to day perspective. Whether it is a change in friendship groups, feeling too tired to socialise or forgetting plans that were made, these difficulties can be expressed through our art project.

This year you can choose to create your piece from any of the following:

– Paint
– Draw
– Photograph
– Write

If you would like to get involved or for more information please email Emily. Let us know whether you are planning to paint, write or photograph and we will send you the relevant materials pack.

We’ll be exhibiting the artworks publicly and auctioning them off to raise money. Last year this auction was very successful, raising over £3000. No matter what your level of artistic ability, all entries are welcome and could help us to raise awareness and much needed funds.

This year’s sponsors for Action for Brain Injury Week is Bolt Burdon Kemp Solicitors’.
