Invest in the future – a gift in your Will

Leaving us a gift in your Will – no matter how big or small – would enable us to transform thousands of children’s and families’ lives through our services. However, you will also be investing in the future; your gift will help fund our campaigns to raise awareness and prevent brain injuries in children.

A gift to the Child Brain Injury Trust is free of Inheritance Tax and could also help to reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax payable on your estate. Your estate includes your savings accounts, house, stocks and shares, pensions, insurance policies etc. From 6 April 2012, anyone leaving at least 10% of their net taxable estate to charity will qualify for a reduced rate of inheritance tax. However, we are a small charity so would appreciate any gift you were able to leave us.

For further information about leaving a gift in your Will, please contact Rachel Parsons, Head of Fundraising, on rachelparsons@cbituk.org, or 07753 273930. Find out more about inheritance tax and charitable giving by speaking to your solicitor, or visiting the HMRC website.

If you have already left us a gift in your Will we would love to hear from you. This information will be completely confidential and is not legally binding; it will simply enable us to ensure we communicate with you appropriately. Click here to get in touch.
