Proving that April showers are no barrier to the determined fundraiser, Friday April 24th saw Polmont-resident Robert Reid head to his local gym to push himself through a triathlon. Robert told us he chose to fundraise for the Child Brain Injury Trust because:

“Some years ago my best friend had a serious car accident which resulted in him having a brain injury. A similar head injuries charity helped him through some really hard times and gave him a place to chat with other people who had been through similar experiences. I feel this was an important factor in his rehabilitation. I am eternally grateful for the support that was given and I would like to give a little something back.”

This echoes what many of the families we work with tell us:

Having access to correct information and other parents/families who understand how it is to live with ABI.”

Robert smashed his target, raising £536.50 overall – a fantastic amount! So a massive well done to him. We are so grateful to Robert for choosing to support us in this way.
