Fundraising events make a huge difference to the work of the Child Brain Injury Trust. Not only do they raise much needed income for our various projects around the UK, but they help us reach new audiences with information about the important work we do supporting families coping with a childhood brain injury.

Recently we joined forces with lululemon, a technical athletic apparel company for yoga, running, training and most other sweaty pursuits, to stage a unique private shopping event in their fab George Street store in Edinburgh. Before enjoying an hour of private shopping, with access to lululemon’s expert staff, attendees took part in a yoga session delivered by lululemon ambassador Julie Smeaton. Julie was able to weave in some information about the work of the Child Brain Injury Trust, which was a lovely touch and really made this event unique to us.  After the session, we enjoyed delicious and healthy organic cold-press juices from Juice Warrior and raw, vegan deserts from Pumpkin Brown – a lovely treat!

We ran a prize draw on the evening with fantastic prizes from:

All together with the prize draw and ticket sales, this event raised over £400 for our Scottish Child and Family Support Project. We are so grateful to everyone who donated, gave their time and came along on the evening. We had great feedback from everyone who took part and we look forward to hopefully running a similar event this autumn.
