Maggie Sargent & Associates partners with Child Brain Injury Trust to strengthen support for families

The Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) is proud to announce a new partnership with Maggie Sargent & Associates (MSA), a leading provider of Expert Witness services in personal injury and clinical negligence cases. The partnership, which officially began on 1 April, brings together two organisations united by a shared commitment to supporting children with acquired brain injuries and their families.

At Maggie Sargent & Associates, the impact of serious injury is seen every day, particularly when a child is affected. While the organisation’s role is to provide independent, unbiased expert opinion to the court, this is always delivered with a deep understanding of the child’s circumstances and the wider impact on their family.

This perspective is what makes the partnership with CBIT such a natural fit. Both organisations recognise that the journey following a childhood acquired brain injury extends far beyond the legal process, and that families need compassionate, ongoing support to navigate the challenges they face.

Emma Pilling, Corporate Fundraising Manager at the Child Brain Injury Trust, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Maggie Sargent & Associates. Their deep understanding of the challenges families face following a childhood acquired brain injury, combined with their commitment to quality and integrity, makes them a natural partner for us. This collaboration will help us continue to reach more families with the support they need, at the time they need it most.”

A collaboration with a meaningful history

Maggie Sargent has supported the charity since its early days, making this partnership a continuation of a long-standing connection. It reflects a shared belief in giving back and strengthening the support available to families affected by brain injury.

As part of the partnership, MSA will be supporting CBIT’s upcoming Beautifully Bonkers Talent Show this September in Sheffield, a joyful event that celebrates the resilience, individuality, and spirit of the children and families CBIT supports.

Looking Ahead

This partnership marks an important step forward in strengthening the network of support around children with acquired brain injuries. By working together, CBIT and

MSA aim to ensure that families feel understood, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
