It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the charity and our team have worked extremely hard to not only launch our virtual support package but to also continue to provide the much needed support to families affected by brain injury in these uncertain times. I take huge pride in the immense effort and support everyone has given us and it fills me with hope that we will get through this ‘together’. It’s not going to be easy, but we will do it. It will not surprise you to know that we are not able to deliver any of our fundraising activities that were planned for the summer and this will have a significant impact on our financial position. We are not a rich charity and we rely heavily on our annual fundraising plan being actioned so that we can deliver our vital services. We are however, moving forward with our autumn plans which will include our Sports Lunch and our AGloHa party. These events will now be even more important, not only because they raise funds for us, but also because we will get to see our lovely supporters and friends. So please support us and get your tickets early…. Now more than ever, every single penny counts, the charity needs you, our families need you and I need you.
Fancy a challenge or another way to support us?
Whether it’s a Come Dine With Me-type competition where you cook for friends and they donate what they’d be happy to pay for it afterwards, or a more formal event like a race night or sponsored walk – every single penny you manage to raise will go towards our work with children and families coping with childhood acquired brain injury.
We work with companies in lots of different ways. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in working with the Child Brain Injury Trust. Whether your company has worked with a Charity before or not, our Fundraising Team will always be there to support you with your fundraising and come up with exciting new opportunities for all involved.
