“…so inclusive and thoughtful and you engaged us the whole day whilst sewing seeds for new thought and discussion”

Join our free and accredited workshop online to explore the experiences of children, young people, and their families following childhood acquired brain injury.

“Excellent course delivery – great structure – the trainer’s delivery is outstanding; delivering the course with such knowledge and empathy whilst still listening and valuing everyone’s input/experience/thoughts regardless of their background or experience. Overall quality of info in the course was perfect for someone with little/no background knowledge of ABI.”

You may think that you do not know any children with an acquired brain injury, but due to the hidden nature of this disability, how can you be sure? The Child Brain Injury Trust’s training on childhood acquired brain injury aims to provide a no-nonsense, jargon free approach to childhood acquired brain injury.

“…focusing on common areas of difficulty gave good strategies on how to help someone should they be struggling and allowed more in-depth insight in what an individual could be experiencing. Applying this to the case study was really helpful as it allowed you to put it into practice.”

The Understanding Childhood Acquired Brain Injury workshop will cover:
• What an acquired brain injury (ABI) is
• The importance of understanding childhood acquired brain injury
• Common areas of difficulty for children affected by an acquired brain injury
