Calidus Care Consultancy Partners with Child Brain Injury Trust to Strengthen Support for Families

The Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) is proud to announce a new charity partnership with Calidus Care Consultancy, which officially began on 1 April 2026. This collaboration brings together two organisations united by a shared commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people affected by acquired brain injury.

Why Calidus Care Consultancy Chose to Partner with CBIT

Calidus Care Consultancy has chosen to support CBIT in recognition of the charity’s child-centred approach and the vital role it plays in guiding families through the challenges of life after brain injury. Through this partnership, both organisations will work collaboratively to raise awareness, provide meaningful support, and drive positive change for families across the UK.

Speaking about the partnership, Neelam Kaur-Gupta, Founder & Managing Director of Calidus Care Consultancy, shared: “We are truly proud to partner with CBIT, a charity placing children and their families at the heart of their services following a brain injury. The determination, kindness and support they show those affected by brain injury is truly remarkable. By partnering with CBIT, we hope to make a real difference by working collaboratively together for better outcomes for the children and families we support, whilst contributing in a meaningful way.”

A Shared Ethos of Advocacy, Compassion and Care

Calidus Care Consultancy’s ethos is rooted in advocacy, compassion and determination. The organisation works closely with children, families, and professionals to ensure individuals with complex needs receive the highest standard of care within their communities. Their partnership with CBIT reflects a natural alignment in values, with both organisations focused on ensuring that every child and family feels supported, informed, and empowered.

Neelam added: “Our ethos is to advocate, support and help children receive the best possible complex care in the community, while working closely with their loved ones to ensure everyone’s needs, wishes and goals are met. Being a charity partner with CBIT is important to us, where we can make a real difference in raising funds, awareness and signposting others following a brain injury.”

Emma Pilling, Corporate Fundraising Manager at the Child Brain Injury Trust, said: “We are delighted to welcome Calidus Care Consultancy as a charity partner. Their passion for advocacy and commitment to improving standards in complex care aligns closely with our own values. Together, we can strengthen the support available to children and families following acquired brain injury and ensure they feel understood, supported and empowered every step of the way.”

This partnership marks an exciting step forward in expanding support networks for families navigating childhood acquired brain injury, while raising awareness of the long-term impact and the importance of early, ongoing support.
