GloWeek
GloWeek 2026 will run from the 19th to the 25th of October 2026
This is your opportunity to get involved and to help raise awareness of
Being Seen, Not Hurt
when the days become shorter in the winter months.
As the nights draw in, it’s important that we all stay safe by being seen, so we want to create the brightest GloWeek ever.
Our Simple (yet effective) Pledge:
As always with GloWeek, we are asking you to make a pledge in support of our campaign. We are asking you to pledge to have a conversation, yes it really is that simple. Have a conversation with a child or young person about the importance of road safety and being bright when out and about (especially in the dark). Why do we need to wear bright colours? Why is it important to have reflective gear when cycling?
This simple pledge will get conversations started and encourage / educate children & young people about our key message to ‘Be Seen, Not Hurt‘.

Raising Awareness
For everyone, we offer a chance to get involved in our autumn road safety campaign,
Be Seen Not Hurt, as part of our GloWeek Campaign.
Everyone can have unique access to our Be Seen, Not Hurt e-learning session.
The materials are primarily aimed at children of primary school age.
As experts in childhood acquired brain injury, this is a road safety talk with a difference! Whilst we cover some essential road safety information, we relate to how you can protect your brain and talk about why our brains are just so amazing.

Light Up for GloWeek!
We have reached out to landmarks and buildings across the country to ask them to light up for GloWeek. We have had a great response!
This map shows you the landmarks that have agreed to light up in our branded colours on the Friday during GloWeek.
If you know a local building you think would light up, and they aren’t highlighted on the map, please email us at marketing@cbituk.org.
Are you local to any of these landmarks?
Come join and snap a picture when it is lit up! Share your pictures across social media to help us raise awareness, and don’t forget to tag us!
Use hashtag #CBITGloWeek and we’ll make sure to share your pictures!
Let’s make sure more children have more good days. Together, we can elevate families. Together, we can enrich futures.

Your Donation Changes Lives
Acquired brain injury can happen to any child, at any moment, and when it does, it changes everything for the whole family.
The Child Brain Injury Trust is here to make sure no child or family faces the journey of acquired brain injury alone.
