Meet the Team
Our Brain Injury Team is led by Huw Ponting who is the Head of our Personal Injury Team and has over 30 years of experience representing both adult and child clients and their loved ones that have suffered complex neurological injuries of maximum severity. Huw is supported by a team of specialist lawyers who each have decades of relevant experience including
Darren O’Sullivan (Partner), Tim Jones (Legal Director), Sue Stoll, Katherine Moyse, Leigh Woodham, and Charlotte Morgan (Managing Associate*).
We operate a system whereby all claims are led by a senior fee earner (Managing Associate or above) supported by a team of fee earners and support staff carefully selected based on the needs of the client.
Clinical Negligence claims are led by Senior Partner Rob Antrobus supported by a wider team including Jackie Linehan (Legal Director) as well as many other senior colleagues with dedicated expertise. We have significant experience to rely on when investigating complex claims such as those claims involving infants and young children. Our expertise is significantly bolstered by having a number of colleagues who are dual qualified in medicine and law and whom our wider team can consult whenever needed.

Meet the Team
Iona is the head of Fieldfisher’s Personal Injury and Medical Negligence team at Fieldfisher. Iona brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise to the Department and holds a medical degree alongside her law degree.
Iona has worked in medical negligence for over 15 years and solely acts for Claimants who have been catastrophically injured following a complex medical negligence. Iona specialises in supporting children who have suffered injuries at birth. She has particular expertise in meningitis, sepsis and paediatric oncology cases. Iona works tirelessly to support not only the child but the wider family as well to ensure the very best outcome is reached for them.
Iona has been described in Chambers and Partners as ‘ a very quietly effective operator and it has been stated that ‘She’s ahead of others by two steps and is really good’.

Eman is a Senior Associate in our Personal Injury Team at Fieldfisher. Eman acts exclusively for Claimants who have suffered from a catastrophic injury in particular brain injury, amputation and complex musculoskeletal injuries.
Eman’s focus on cases is to ensure that early rehabilitation and intervention is sought for her clients as soon as possible alongside easing any financial burdens to enable her clients and their families to focus on optimising their recovery.
Eman takes a compassionate approach with her clients and their families to help support and navigate them through their journey to recovery.

Keith is Partner in our Personal Injury Team at Fieldfisher leading our Manchester Office. He has more than 18 years’ experience acting for the victims of road traffic collisions, accidents at work, cycling accidents, injuries caused during ‘adventure’ sports, and in a range of other public and private settings.
He is known for taking on complex and difficult cases and fighting hard for his clients’ best interests.
Most of Keith’s experience involves representing people with the severest injuries such as clients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and amputations and he acts for both injured adults and children.
