Our countdown is over; we hope you didn’t forget to turn your clocks back this morning. As some of you wake up a little more sleepy after losing an hour’s sleep, remember to note how much darker it seems this evening; autumn is truly here!

Throughout the week, with your help, we have been promoting road and cycle safety. We have been out to schools and wearing our brightest clothes to remind you to stay safe this winter.

Every 30 minutes in the UK a child or young person acquires a brain injury. Around 40% of brain injuries are the result of a road traffic accident. With your help, we hope to raise more awareness of road safety to reduce the number of accidents over time.

We would like to thank you all for getting involved this week and supporting our third year of ‘Be Seen, Not Hurt’. We loved seeing all your bright photos on Friday for this year’s Glow Day and cannot wait for next year. You can see all your bright photos in our photo album on Facebook.

Until next time, we hope you continue to stay safe and check out our safety tips.

Thank you to this year’s campaign sponsors, Nestor for supporting ‘Be Seen, Not Hurt’.
