Press release – 22nd July 2025
The Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) is thrilled to announce the final ever edition of its legendary AGloha fundraising event, taking place on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025 at The London Reign. After years of glowing success, unforgettable dancefloors and heartfelt fundraising, this iconic night is preparing to go out in dazzling style.
AGloha, which has become a staple on the charity’s fundraising calendar, is more than just a night out but a vibrant celebration with a serious purpose. All funds raised on the night will directly support CBIT’s vital work with children and families navigating the lifelong effects of childhood-acquired brain injury.
The event will shine an even brighter spotlight on CBIT’s flagship awareness campaign, GloWeek, which runs from 20th to 26th October 2025. GloWeek champions the message “Be Seen, Not Hurt”, encouraging children, families, and schools to talk about the importance of staying visible and safe during the darker months of the year.
This simple but powerful campaign asks everyone to make a pledge to have a conversation with a child or young person about why wearing bright or reflective clothing matters when walking or cycling. It’s a chance to start life-saving conversations, promote brain safety, and raise awareness of acquired brain injury in a truly accessible way. CBIT’s website also offers downloadable GloWeek resources, educational videos, and even a nationwide Light Up for GloWeek initiative, where landmarks across the country will glow in the charity’s colours to spread the message further.
AGloha tickets are £175 per person and include a welcome fizz reception, a selection of canapés and bowl food, and four drinks tokens. As always, guests can expect glowing vibes, a high-energy atmosphere, and the signature AGloha sparkle.
“This really is the end of an era,” says Amelia Larard, Head of Marketing and Fundraising at the Child Brain Injury Trust. “AGloha has brought so many people together over the years to celebrate, connect and support our cause. The funds raised from this event go straight into providing support for families when they need it most, and this final AGloha will help us do even more.”
Guests are encouraged to wear their brightest outfits and prepare to dance the night away in honour of the children and families whose lives are impacted by acquired brain injury every day.
