A Night of Laughter, Glitter, and Giving
Last night marked the grand finale of our much-loved AGloha event series, and what an incredible way to close this chapter!
It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to something that’s brought so much joy, laughter, and community spirit since 2018, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. This year’s celebration truly went out in style: a night filled with dazzling outfits, endless dancing, and unforgettable moments that we’ll be talking about for years to come.

AGloha Highlights
Let’s start with that catwalk moment: the Best Dressed showdown between Brian from HCC Solicitors and Adam from Leigh Day Solicitors. The crowd went wild as they strutted their stuff in a full-on dance-off, but Adam was ultimately crowned the winner. Rightly so, considering he was already wearing a crown!
The Hula Hoop Challenge was an unexpected comedy highlight of the night. It’s safe to say no one quite knew what they were signing up for when they stepped onto the stage. Not a single person managed to keep the hoop spinning, and before long, the hoops were being twirled on arms instead of hips (you’ll see this in the photos below!).
And who could forget the brave lady who broke out the worm right in the middle of the dance floor? That moment will go down in AGloha history.
Our Prize Draw was another huge success, raising an incredible £1,600 on the night! Congratulations to our two delighted winners, who took home a luxurious Ritz Afternoon Tea and a stunning Hermès purse.
The dance floor stayed full all night, thanks to our incredible DJ who had everyone moving from start to finish. From old-school classics to current hits (and even a random Christmas song that got a surprisingly good reception!), the energy never dipped for a second.
And the outfits? This year’s costumes were the best we’ve ever seen, hands down. You absolutely trumped every other year!

A Heartfelt ‘Mahalo’
To our amazing team, your hard work, creativity, and dedication made AGloha 2025 one to remember. And to everyone who came along, our supporters, sponsors, and friends, you were the heartbeat of the celebration. The laughter, the sparkle, the generosity, and those unforgettable dance moves made the night truly special.
We’re thrilled to share that together, we raised over £39,000 through AGloha 2025! That incredible total will make a real difference for children and families affected by childhood-acquired brain injury.
To put it into perspective, this amount of money can provide:
- 300 ‘Give a Child a Chance’ family grants, helping families access therapies, equipment, or activities.
- 150 regional family support hubs, giving families local guidance, workshops, and peer support.
- 75 full courses of counselling for young people or carers.
- 50 regional family event days, offering respite, fun, and connection.
Every pound raised helps us provide vital support, guidance, and hope: turning a glittering night of fun into real, life-changing impact for families across the UK.
We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors for the evening; Serious Injury Law, PLG, Moore Barlow, Sintons, and our valued joint venture partner Bush & Co, whose continued support helps make events like AGloha possible. Your commitment and collaboration mean so much to us, and together we’re helping to create brighter futures for children and families affected by childhood-acquired brain injury.
A special thanks to David Tinkler for capturing the magic once again, the official photos are available for you to see below!
The Meaning Behind the AGloha Magic
AGloha isn’t just about fun and glitter, it’s part of our GloWeek campaign, raising vital funds for the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) and spreading an important safety message be seen, not hurt.
As the darker evenings draw in, we’re reminding everyone how crucial it is to help children stay visible and safe when out and about.
Here are five simple ways you can make a difference this season:
- Wear bright or reflective clothing when walking, cycling, or scooting.
- Add reflective stickers or patches to school bags and jackets.
- Use lights on bikes, scooters, and pushchairs.
- Walk in well-lit areas and use pedestrian crossings wherever possible.
- Talk to children about road safety and why being visible saves lives.
You can still be part of the movement to keep children safe this winter by donating towards our campaign here.
Every donation helps us reach more families and schools with our vital road safety education and support for children affected by childhood-acquired brain injury.

Here’s to AGloha and to Brighter Futures
“From its beginnings in 2018 to its glittering grand finale, AGloha has been a celebration of community, kindness, and hope. It’s been a space for laughter, connection, and making a real difference, and we couldn’t have done it without everyone who joined us. Here’s to AGloha, to everyone who’s been part of the journey, and to a future where every child is safe, supported, and seen.” — Amelia Larard, Head of Marketing and Fundraising, CBIT
